WeKnowIt will participate in one-2-one meetings in the context of the Mobile World Congress industrial event during 15-18 February in Barcelona, with the aim to
promote the project exploitation potential and possibly achieve

WeKnowIt and Pronto will co-organize the 1st International Workshop on recognising and tracking events on the Web and in real life (EVENTS 2010) , which will be hosted by the 6th Hellenic Conference on Artificial Intelligence (SETN 2010) conference in Athens, Greece, May 4, 2010. The organizing commitee comprises Y. Kompatsiaris, P. Mylonas, P. Karampiperis, and T. Winkler.
The first prototype for the Consumer Social Group case study is now available. The travel preparation part can be accessed here. The mobile guidance part can be used by an iPhone or an in HTC Hero device.
The second meeting between WeKnowIt and Pronto representatives took place in Athens on Friday 6/11, in the context of the Pronto consortium plenary meeting. WeKnowIt was represented by Yiannis Kompatsiaris and Phivos Mylonas. The discussions achieved progress in use cases collaboration, and common dissemination and clustering activities.
ViRaL, the WeKnowIt Visual Retrieval and Localization web-based application is now a complete tool for making queries with city photos, finding similar ones and identifying them on the map.
In the framework of the agreed cooperation between the projects WeKnowIt and Pronto, George Paliouras from "Demokritos" NCSR representing Pronto attended the WeKnowIt plenary meeting held in Thessaloniki on 28-29 September. A mutual exchange of information was established in order to enhance collaboration between the projects.
